Scholarship Amount

Applicant’s Eligibility

1. Will be pursuing full-time first-degree studies in a recognised local public or private university or college
   (inclusive of local twinning programs).
2. Malaysian students only.
3. Below 25 years of age.
4. Applicants must not be in receipt of any other scholarship, or award from any educational institutions, or any other organizations/foundation.
5. Combined monthly household income is RM2,500 and below.

Applicant’s Academic Eligibility

Applicant’s Undergraduate Program Eligibility

1. No restriction on field of studies.
2. Full-time degree studies.
3. Applicant’s first degree.
4. Whole duration of the program/course must be done locally.
5. Must have gained admission into a recognized local public or private university or college.
6. For twinning programs, the full duration of the program must be done locally.

Successful Applicant

1. No bond required.
2. Must be able to maintain a CGPA of 3.30 or equivalent throughout the duration of his/her studies.
3. Education loan is permissible if the scholarship amount is not sufficient to cover tuition fees.

How to Apply

1. Get the download-able/print-able (.pdf) application form from the official HSBC Scholarship Awards webpage, it is not an online application form, must be printed out.
2. Fill in the application form and prepare supporting documents requested, the listing of supporting documents will be available in the application form, mostly at the very beginning part.
3. Filled application form + prepared supporting documents, return to:
