In year 1991, International Medical University (IMU) started as a pioneer private medical college which is International Medical College (IMC) in Malaysia, within period of less than a decade, it was granted university status in year 1999 with vision to emphasize the route of accessing to professional healthcare education.
Since year1999, IMU has enlarged its operation to Seremban and Batu Pahat, and very successfully IMU established its very own Honours degree courses in Pharmacy and Nursing, so as the development of postgraduate programmes such as Master and PhD. By recruiting expertise from different field of leech craft, more degree courses were being introduced in the year of 2008, which inclusive of Dentistry, Nutrition & Dietetics, Medical Biotechnology, Psychology, Biomedical Science and in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

2. Dentistry

c. Possess relevant and up-to-date Annual Practicing Certificate/License
d. At least 2 years of working experience

- Students who have passed all the examination in Phase 1 of the medical programme is eligible to pursue their study to obtain the Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree where it only required an additional year of study period.
