OPEN University Malaysia is the seventh private university in Malaysia which established by METEOR (Multimedia Technology Enhancement Operations Sdn. Bhd.) in year 2000. Besides than meeting the Ministry of Education’s expectation in promoting education to the nations through technology, it is also practicing the motto “University for All” which clearly indicates that education should be made available to all, regardless of race, time, place, age and social economic background. As its name implies, as an open learning institution, from flexible entry requirements to efficient academic system, OPEN University Malaysia is believed to become a pioneer in providing tertiary education in future to come.
