News: 8 Public Universities to be Developed as Centres for Sport Excellence

The Higher Education Ministry has identified 8 public universities with good potentials to be developed as centres of excellence for sports or COESport.
The universities include Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (rowing), Universiti Putra Malaysia (rugby), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (cricket) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (football).
The COESports are expected to be operational by early of 2010.
